Key Machines

Can you have two machine modules eg Unocode & ITL?
Yes.
Key machine connected to computer on work bench. Computer on work shop bench is then connected via LAN to computer in office. Can the office computer talk to the key cutting machine through the other networked computer?
The machine interfaces needs to be installed on the computer connected to the machine, it would be useless to try to operate the machine from another location as you need to insert key blanks and press the start button on every machine.
Key Mastery can create jobs for the machines at any location on the LAN, or even onto a floppy.
Key Mastery does not need to be installed on the computer connected to the machine.
Once key data left office how does the system keep you updated with the whole process. Ie progress windows confirming when job complete etc.
Key Mastery only creates the job file, the rest is done in the workshop. When a job is completed, it can be removed. The Office can see what jobs are still pending, but not the progress.
What happens if machine gets interrupted? Can you stop a job to cut a key if so how?
The machine interface keeps track of what keys have been sent to the machine.
If you are working on a large job and an urgent small job comes in, you can swap from one job to another and return at any time.
If you need to use a code application to cut a car key, you simply stop sending keys from our software, cut the car key, then resume sending keys.
If you sent a key with 3 copies and one of those keys was miss cut, then you can change the quantity sent from 3 to 2 and the software will send the data to cut one more key.
